Welcome to Tina Live (the "Platform" or "Tina Live"). The Platform is provided and controlled by the Tina Live Operations Team and its developer, Mimuna (collectively, "we" or "us"). We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") covers the experience we provide for users aged 18 and older on our Platform. IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 OR THE AGE OF MAJORITY AS DETERMINED BY THE LAWS OF YOUR COUNTRY, PLEASE DO NOT USE OUR SERVICES.
This Policy is written in English. To the extent any translated version of this agreement conflicts with the English version, the English version controls.
We know that other people’s use of your personal data is a big concern for social network users, so we have developed this Policy to let you know how we use your personal information (or "personal data").
Our Policy applies to your use of Tina Live. When you access or use Tina Live, it indicates your agreement to our "Terms and Conditions" and "Privacy Policy", and you consent to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Policy. By installing, using, registering to or otherwise accessing the services, you agree to this Policy and give explicit and informed consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with this Policy.
If you do not accept and agree with our "terms and conditions" and "privacy policy", please do not access or use Tina live.
Tina Live reserves the right to change our Policy at any time to address Services updates, legal changes, and other factors. We will make commercially reasonable endeavours to notify all the users uniformly of any changes to this Policy that may materially and substantially affect your rights, for example through notices or pop-ups on the Platform. We also recommend you regularly review this Policy to check for any changes. We will indicate the Last Update date at the top of the Policy and your continued use of our Services after the update date signifies your agreement to the updated Policy. If you do not agree with the updated version of our Policy, please do not use our Services.
Personal data is information, or a combination of pieces of information, that could reasonably allow you to be identified. We collect personal data from a variety of sources, including you directly provide, we directly collect when you use, and information we collect about you from other sources.
For certain activities, such as when you register, upload content to the Platform, or contact us directly, you may provide some or all of the following information:
• Registration information, such as nickname, age, gender, username, avatar.
• Profile information, such as your height, weight, occupation, location, nationality. These pieces of information are not mandatory; you may choose whether to provide them.
• User-generated content, including comments, pictures, text messages, photographs, videos, and virtual item videos that you choose to upload on the Platform ("Content").
• Transaction information, such as recharge records, transaction records and history, date, items, amounts. We will not retain and collect your credit card name, number or password, these payment information will be collected by the third-party payment channel as you choose.
• If you contact our Customer Support team via customer service, we will receive your information, and may track your IP address as well as the information you send to us to help resolve your query. We will keep records of our communications with you, including any complaints that we receive from you about other users (and from other users about you).
• User logs, you may be required to upload certain user log file information if you report the problems you met when you use our Services, including your operation parameters, operation time, service response time, operation steps, and error reasons.
We collect the following categories of personal data about you automatically when you use Tina Live, including:
• Activity information, network information and device information, such as the data we receive when you interact with our app (e.g., your purchase records, search history, log data, or actions you take within the App) or information about your device (e.g., your device version, Device ID, Android ID, Google Advertising ID, IDFA, Hardware Serial Number, Device Model, operating system, system language and region), and the network information(e.g., your network carrier and network type);
• Coarse geolocation data, such as location information we receive about you (e.g., based on your Internet Protocol (IP) address, Wi-Fi SSID, etc.);
We will only collect your GPS information with your express consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time by turning off location permissions. GPS information is the sensitive information, if you refuse to provide, you will not able to use the location-based services, but it will not affect your use of Tina Live other services.
When you use our Services, your location, microphone and phone camera permissions shall be used upon your explicit authorization, we will ask for your consent via in-app pop-ups when you access to the relevant functions.
We may receive the information described in this Policy from other sources, such as:
• Social Media: If you choose to link or sign up using your third-party social network platform (such as Google), we may collect information from these social media services, including your nickname as it appears on your social media profile, your user ID and your profile image, this depends on the policy of the social media platform and your privacy settings.
• Third-Party Services: We may collect information about you from third-party services, such as advertising partners, payment partners and analytics providers. However, please note that this Policy does not and will not extend to how the third-parties collect and process your information, which shall be subject to the respective their own privacy policies.
To deliver the complete functionality of our application, we require certain permissions from your device. This section explains the permissions we need, their purpose, how they are obtained, and the measures we take to protect your data.
We will explicitly ask for your consent for the following permissions through system prompts when the related feature is used.
• CAMERA
This permission is requested via a system prompt when you start a video call, enabling these features by allowing the app to capture video.
• RECORD_AUDIO
To capture audio for live streams and video calls, this permission is requested through a system prompt when you initiate a feature that requires it.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
This permission allows the app to access photos on your device's external storage (e.g., gallery). It is used when you choose a photo from your gallery to set as a profile picture or to send in a chat.
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
This permission is used to save new photos taken within the app (e.g., for use in a chat) onto your device's external storage before they are uploaded.
The following permissions are granted automatically at installation as they are essential for the app's core functionality.
• INTERNET
This permission enables the app to connect to our servers.
• ACCESS_WI-FI_STATE
This is used to check the status of your Wi-Fi connection.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
This allows the app to monitor network availability and connection type, helping to prevent data loss during interruptions and assisting in risk assessment.
• READ_PHONE_STATE
This permission is used to check device capabilities for video calls and to track call activity status.
• BLUETOOTH
This is used to detect the connection of Bluetooth headsets.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS
This permission allows the app to send you promotional and social activity alerts.
• AD_ID
This accesses the Google Advertising ID for personalized ads. You can disable this from the "Personalized Ads" setting on your device.
We may use your personal information for the following purpose:
• Services Provision and Operation: To provide you with Tina Live Services and maintain the normal operation of the services, such as video chat, interactive communication between users, discovering friends, motivating tasks, posting your social updates and your other activities through Tina Live.
• Identification and Authentication: To verify your identity and create a profile for you when you register with us, identify your device, access and use our Services, or otherwise engage with us, and to ensure the security of your personal data.
• Contractual Obligations: To carry out our contractual obligations to you under the Terms and Conditions or to take steps at your request before entering into such agreement.
• Service Improvements and Analyse: To continually improve the user experience, identify network status, monitor account anomalies, and understand the suitability of products and services.
• Security: To keep users’ activities and accounts security.
• Recharge Services: To support and verify user payment behavior.
• Communications and Customer Service: Respond to your requests to us and notify you of changes to Tina Live services and this Policy.
• Advertising and Marketing: To understand your preferences, and to help determine which marketing materials would be of interest to you. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before sending such marketing materials.
• Exercising our Rights and Complying with our Obligations: Exercise our legal rights where it is necessary, for example to detect, prevent, and respond to infringement claims or violations of law. We may process your personal data to carry out fraud prevention checks or comply with other legal or regulatory requirements, when required by law.
We provide information and content to affiliates, vendors and service providers who support our business, such as by providing technical infrastructure services, analyzing how our Services are used, providing customer service, security services, facilitating payments, music sharing or conducting surveys. Examples of where your information may be disclosed or transferred to other users, our affiliates or Third-Party Partners for any of the purposes mentioned above in order for the Services to be provided to you are:
• Your publicly visible information and Profile, which may include your Tina Live ID, name, gender, region and photos, date of birth, etc.
• All the information you make available to other users or information about you that is made available by other Tina Live users.
• Our parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates and/or branch offices who support the App or Site Services as well as the integration of your information with our other apps who deliver and perform the Services.
• Any of our or any Tina Live team member's agents, contractors including, IT companies who support our website and other business systems, back office service providers, payment service providers, data management and analytics service providers, and data cleansing service providers and subject to your consent direct marketing companies and mailing houses who help us manage our electronic and mailed communications.
• Any relevant third parties such as telecommunications operators, third party collection agencies, credit reference agencies, security agencies (including identification verification service providers), credit providers, banks, financial institutions (including any payment processors).
• Any professional advisors (including our legal advisors and auditors);
• Any regulatory authorities, law enforcement, courts and other governmental agencies;
And any of our actual or proposed assignees or transferees of any part of our business or operations.
You can always control what information you choose to share with us on the App (except for information which we have indicated as mandatory for you to provide). To do so, you can change your settings in the App or in your mobile device. Alternatively, you can remove the App from your mobile device entirely.
• Right to Deletion: You can choose to remove your data anytime you want. If you ask us to delete your account, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to remove your data from our servers, subject to any applicable legal or other requirement to maintain certain records of your personally identifiable data. Please note that the deletion of your personally identifiable data from our database may result in us not being able to provide you with the Service.
To delete your data please click within the App on Settings located in the top right corner of your profile > click on "Setting"> select the option "Delete Account" > click on "Delete Account."
• Right to Know and Access: You have the right to request information about our collection and use of your personal data. This includes the right to know the categories of personal data we collect, use, or share; the purposes for which we collect and use this data; the categories of sources from which we collect your personal data; and the specific pieces of personal data we have collected about you. Much of this information is already detailed in the "Information Collection" section of this Privacy Policy.
• Right to Correction: You have the right to request that we correct any inaccuracies in your personal data. We will take reasonable steps to rectify the information, considering the nature of the data and the purposes for its processing.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale: You have the right to direct us not to sell your personal data. Please be advised that we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• Right to Object to Profiling and Targeted Advertising: You have the right to opt-out of any processing of your personal data for the purposes of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you, as well as targeted advertising. You may submit a verifiable request to be opted out of these activities. Please note that exercising this right may impact the personalization of your experience on our website, application, and with third-party services, potentially making them less relevant to your interests.
Protecting your privacy and personal information is a top priority for Tina Live. We protect the privacy and security of all personally identifiable information you provide to us. We run stress tests on our systems to help us improve. Access to all personally identifiable information is strictly restricted to Tina Live team, contractors, agents and Third-Party Partners and service providers who need to know that information in order to provide, operate, develop, maintain, support or improve the Service or otherwise carry out any of the purposes as set out in this Privacy Policy. Tina Live implements appropriate technical and physical security measures, such as using password protection, access logs, and system monitoring to maintain the confidentiality and security of all users’ information against any loss or unauthorised disclosure, use and modification.
All data transmitted between the application and our servers is secured using the HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) protocol. As part of this collaboration, we share certain collected, anonymized data points with Adjust. The Service is not directed at children or persons under the age of eighteen (18) and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children or persons under the age of eighteen (18) as part of the Service. We do however collect information regarding your age to ensure underage users are not part of our platform in order to maintain the security of our Services and use third parties to help us maintain the correct age profile for our App. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received or collected personally identifiable information from a user under the age of eighteen (18) as part of the Service, we will delete such information from our records. If you are under the age of eighteen (18), please do not use the Service.
